Narrated by celebrated actor Pep Munné, Moving Barcelona portrays a story through dance
about the Catalonian capital, an autonomous region in the Spanish State, contending with an
identity crisis while Barcelonians, in pursuit of happiness, find themselves on a treadmill to
nowhere in a tale of modern day life.

Jevan Chowdhury is an award-winning artist with 19 years experience in film production. He has made films for international organisations, governments, and cultural institutions including the UK Department of International Trade, MTR, Barnardo’s, and Hong Kong Ballet. His Moving Cities project has been seen by over 50 million people and exhibited in 68 festivals, with exhibitions worldwide. Moving Barcelona is the eighth film in his award-winning collection of works, capturing the world as a stage. Life on the street in London, Paris, Brussels, Dallas, Prague, Yerevan, and Athens have all been recorded in this growing canon.
